Happy New Year!

Last night 2014 finished with a bang as the boys swirled sparklers and launched confetti all around us. One of the most delicious parts to our end of year feast was dessert. This is a chocolate pavlova from Nigella Lawsons Summer book. I made it again and again for years when the big boys were small and all of a sudden stopped. You must have favourites like this too- dishes you cook so often that eventually they seem to expire and it takes years to rediscover them. It seemed like the perfect party dessert for last night. And its ridiculously pretty. Important bonus.
