Being the mum of three boys I expected to have a house filled to the brim with super-hero products but my two oldest boys were never really interested. We have never owned a superhero costume and the only spiderman/ batman toys were acquired in party bags or lucky dips and never received much love. They had capes with their initials on them made by me but usually they preferred to be knights, dragons or mad scientists during dress up time. Charlie seems very excited about flying and will mimic superman but generally he is more keen flying his dinosaurs around.

When I see rooms like these I wish they were more in love with it especially, the bat mask which has such a graphic impact in a space. Decorating a super-hero enthusiasts bedroom is lots of fun and stylish if you embrace some key pieces and don't go over the top. I love it in here as it is just enough.

This is the bedroom and playroom shared by the son and daughter of blogger Sini. Black and white as the background for all the pops of colour in accessories and decor is perfect.
